Ive been working on this re-build of an oldskool 1998 HT1 touring car , its almost complete other than the body work , ive tried my best to keep it in the era its from by using tailor picked electronics to keep the period feel its from , i will be doing a few more little bits to it before i add it as a unit. So until then enoy what i have to show you so far , the full details and specification will be added when i add it as a unit. Dan :) .................................................................................................................................................... Updated 03/03/13 Added Dish wheels by Xeon Racing 24R slicks , made a battery Adaptor so i didn't have to cut the original fitting off , installed all the connections to the 2.4G receiver , set the servo position and travel amount , added a Heat sink to the motor for better cooling , set ride height. I also gave it a test run running a Speedworks Acornite 19 single wind motor , it ran very well im pleased with the results so far. .................................................................................................................................................... Updated 04/03/13 swapped out the 19 single , and now installed a reedy Sonic 15 Quad!!! , took out the friction dampers and lubricated the kingpins and ball joints , greased up all the transmission to free it up untill i get some bearings for it , its currently running the stock bushes and they are fine there are no issues with it but adding bearings will gain me better acceleration times and a more smooth running transmission. .................................................................................................................................................... Updated 05/03/13 Took some shots when i was out this morning doing more test outs. Its running very good at the moment almost got the handling set up perfect now. ....................................................................................................................................................
